Computers are considered one of the most innovative sciences of today, and a good computer science education can keep you up-to-date with the fast-evolving technology and technical skills necessary to meet the demands of the burgeoning field of computers.
Vocational computer schools offer a wide curriculum that includes computer science, scientific computing, website building applications, introduction to algorithms and data structures, introduction to software engineering and system programming, introduction to computer graphics, programming languages, and other relevant information technology coursework. Typically, students who are obtaining a vocational computer science education will learn how to build, maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve problems with computers and computer networking systems.

Forensic Science Education

Forensic science is a multidisciplinary science used to provide impartial scientific evidence for use in the courts of law, drawing principally from chemistry, biology, physics, geology, psychology, social science and other subjects. In a forensic science program, one learns how to identify the boundaries of a crime scene and understand the principles of searching the crime scene for specific types of evidence, such as fingerprints, forensic identifiable material and other items of evidentiary value. Below are some universities across the United States providing courses in Forensic Sciences and Criminal Justice.
The University of Phoenix offers Criminal Justice programs in Bachelors in Criminal Justice, Masters in Criminal Justice, Forensic Science / Crime Scene Investigation, Homeland Security, Law Enforcement, Private/Criminal Detective and Scoping Technology.
Florida Metropolitan University (FMU) – With locations throughout Florida, the university offers Criminal Justice programs in Associates in Criminal Justice, Bachelors in Criminal Justice, Masters in Criminal Justice, Forensic Science / Crime Scene Investigation and Homeland Security.

Paranormal Activity 3 Review

When Paranormal Activity was released, I had no real interest in seeing it. I thought it would be just another one of those “found footage” movies that was attempting to be like The Blair Witch Project. I ended up watching it and I found it to be boring and uneventful. The acting wasn’t very good and the movie just wasn’t scary. Now that I have this blog I basically had to review the new Paranormal Activity 3 movie that’s being released although I didn’t want to. Many people believe that the films that come after their originals aren’t as good. That way of thinking appears to be true in most cases, but I was hoping that Paranormal Activity 3 would be one of the few exceptions to that rule.
Paranormal Activity 3 is a prequel to the original film. It features Kate and Kristi as children back in September of 1988. Its goal is to give a back story to the first two films and help us understand how all of this came to be in that family.
In my review of Apollo 18, I remember saying that the movie was okay but they needed to stop with these “found footage” horror films. After seeing Paranormal Activity 3 I will gladly take that back. This movie was straight up spooky and creepy. They did everything in this film that they tried (and failed) to do in the original version. The way they set up the scenes and scares in this film worked almost every time. You could feel it coming, but you didn’t know what it was and you didn’t know when it was going to happen. That kind of suspense built up the actual events even more and it went on for the whole film with almost no down time. It’s even done like this at the end of Paranormal Activity 3 and what happens will catch you completely off guard. Read the rest of this entry »
